TOURISM: BIKE RIDE TO CASTRO SANCTUARY
25 giugno, 13:25 (ANSA) - ROMA, 25 GIU - A biking event on the country roads
to arrive to the Castro sanctuary takes place each year on the
last Sunday in June. The event, organised by the local tourism
office in collaboration with the Municipality Istria di Castro,
will begin with a meeting at 8:00AM in Piazza Immacolata.
The group will bike to the Ponte San Pietro bridge, and will
continue to the sanctuary where there will be a lunch based on
typical local products. In the afternoon an obstacle course
competition on bike will take place, followed by an awards
ceremony for the winners in each category. At 6:00PM, the
participants will be transported back to the town, or, those who
would like to do so can bike back to the centre.(ANSA).
