(ANSA) - ROMA, 25 GIU - This year the capital city will again
bring together Berlin, Paris, London and the other capitals of
Europe to celebrate the 'Europa Music Festival', which will be
held on June 21.
This three-day edition from June 19-21, is entirely dedicated
to music, with concerts and musical performances in Rome's
squares in front of Roman churches, museums, libraries,
bookstores, gardens and theatres.
Sixteen museums and archaeological areas will be enlivened by
music from Castel Sant'Angelo to the Borghese Gallery, Trajan's
Markets, Galleria Spada or La Pelanda, the former Slaughterhouse
in Testaccio, the courtyard of Palazzo Massimo and the theatre
of Palazzo Altemps.
Many genres are on the agenda, including gospel, classical
music, electronic and Latin American music. All of the concerts
scheduled for the festival will be open to professionals,
enthusiasts and those who are curious, and will be free of
charge.(ANSA).
